Warranty
What Proof of Purchase You Need
Your order number ties your 25-year warranty to your purchase — here's how to find it and what else we may ask for.
There's no warranty card to fill in and no registration form to chase. Your coverage is registered with your order. Here's what that means when you actually need to use it.
Your order number is the key
Your 25-year warranty is tied to your purchase through your order number. Keep it somewhere you'll find it years from now — that one detail is what connects a claim to the piece you bought.
Where to find it
If you can't put your hands on it, a few reliable places:
- Your order confirmation email, sent when you placed the order.
- Your shipping confirmation email, the one containing your tracking link.
- The packing slip included in the box.
- Your bank or card statement, which at least gives us the date and amount to search on.
Search your inbox for "Okura" — including your spam and promotions folders, where confirmation emails sometimes land.
What we may ask for
When you make a claim, we may request clear photos of the issue and any additional information needed to assess it and confirm eligibility. That's the substance of a claim: photos that show the problem plainly, plus a short description of what's happening and when you first noticed it. In most cases nothing further is needed.
If you can't find your order number
Don't let a missing number stop you from reaching out. Contact us with whatever you do have — the email address you ordered with, the approximate date, the delivery address, or what you bought — and we'll look it up on our side. We keep the records; you don't have to.
What the warranty covers
Coverage is for manufacturing defects, meaning flaws in materials or workmanship. It doesn't extend to normal wear and tear, cosmetic changes from ordinary use, misuse, or accidental damage. The full picture is in What the 25-Year Warranty Covers.
Making the claim
Once you've got your order number and photos together, the process itself is short — see How to Make a Warranty Claim. We typically reply within 24 to 48 hours.
One habit worth building now
Save your order confirmation email to a folder the day it arrives. It costs nothing today and it's the difference between a two-minute claim and an afternoon of searching in year twelve. And to keep the pan in shape until then, see Caring for Your Pan (and Your Warranty).
